Carleigh was amazing - from the moment she arrived to the moment she left. All my girls loved her. So grateful to have had her with us that day. She steamed dresses, held a cup of water for me to drink during photos, cleaned grass stains off my dress you name it she was on it.

A surprise to no one, planning a wedding is a lot of work. While I planned the entire wedding myself, I can say unequivocally the best thing I ever did during this process was hire a day of coordinator. Make room in your budget for one. I promise you won't regret it. Now, my venue required that I get a day of coordinator and it was absolutely the right decision. I literally cannot imagine my wedding without someone there to help and guide the day. Getting married is A LOT. It is exhausting and it is thrilling. I had no time to think about anything and I didn't want to rely on family or friends to take time from enjoying the day with me to deal with anything at the wedding either. Onto The Day Of Company. I got their base package, which worked great. First, while the name implies they are only working on the day, the company does a lot more than that. They are there for you in the handful of months leading up to your wedding to answer any questions or assist in your planning process. But in the weeks leading up to the wedding is where this company was a lifeline. They are on hand to wrangle vendors, advise on details, arrange timelines, etc. They really were needed in the end to help me get to the finish line. Then, on the wedding day, my coordinator, Jennifer, was just wonderful. She was imperative to making sure not only did the day run smoothly, but that my vision was fully realized. She helped with everything and I mean everything -- she even ran around to find a pocket square for my husband on the morning of the wedding! I couldn't be more grateful for her patience, effort, and professionalism. Again, hire a day of coordinator and, in particular, The Day Of Company. It will be the best decision you make as you plan your wedding."

From our initial call where Audra recommended florists (we ended up going with April Floral) and photographers (we ended up going with Konrad Brattke), to the planning call, to the day of, and all the emails in between, we felt like Audra took an enormous burden off our shoulders with respect to planning and executing our vision. On the day of the ceremony, Ellie from the Day Of Company was our day of coordinator and was great and very professional. She made sure all of our issues were addressed by the venue. It was super helpful having her there and knowledgeable about the space especially since she was just at the venue the week prior for another wedding. All our guests had such wonderful feedback for us during and after the wedding and said it was perfect and beautiful.

My wife and I cannot begin to say enough about the ease and joy of working with the Day Of Company. From the moment we met with Joanna we could tell she was the planner for us, with her consistent responsiveness, flexibility and most of all her skill for organizing something we had started to worry couldn't be organized. Joanna worked with us every step of the way to accommodate everything we wanted out of our big day, and to work around every unforeseen wrinkle. Seeing as it was our first time putting together anything like a wedding, her foresight and experience were truly invaluable to us. By the time our big day was approaching, she had broken our whole event down into a neat, easy to read timeline that allowed us to go into our wedding day with a sense of confidence and ease that I could not have imagined prior was possible.
I also want to give a huge thank you to our day-of coordinator, Angela, who was a true champion for us on our wedding day! She made the whole experience utterly smooth so we could focus on celebrating our love, eating and dancing with our friends and family. From moving people to where they needed to be for photos, to keeping multiple vendors in touch with one another and on schedule behind the scenes, there was no task too big (or too small) for Angela to handle, and no part of the ceremony or the reception that didn't feel incredibly smooth. Angela and Joanna both were willing to go the extra mile, whether by orchestrating email threads between multiple vendors or sticking around to help our guests out by taking their photos on request. We could not have asked for a better experience, either in the planning and lead-up to the wedding or on the day itself, and we owe so much of that to the diligence and care of Joanna and Angela!

Our wedding venue required a Day-Of Coordinator, and our search led us to the Day of Company. We weren't sure what to expect from "day of" coordination, but the Day Of Company did so much to help our wedding day go perfectly. The team was incredibly responsive, and met with us twice before our event. An in-depth document was created for our wedding day, from a minute-by-minute timeline to all of the contact information for vendors in one convenient place. The Day of Company contacted our vendors for us to ensure everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. Once the day of the wedding arrived, there was nothing for us to do because our incredible coordinator Shannon handled everything. From setting up our escort cards, to guiding our wedding party and family throughout the long day, to packing up our personal items while we enjoyed the party, to even driving us to our hotel at  the end of the night when our shuttle was full. Shannon went above her job description to ensure our night went off without an issue, and we are so grateful to her and the team at the Day of Company. Now at the other end of the wedding planning process, working with the Day of Company was easily our best investment in a seamless wedding day from start to finish.

We can't recommend working with The Day Of Company highly enough! We booked Joanna for our day-of coordinating, but in reality, she was available to answer questions and served as a sounding board to us for months leading up to our wedding. About one month before our wedding, we had a little issue with our vendor that resulted in having to shift our day-of timeline by one hour. Joanna coordinated the entire shift, notified all of our vendors, and helped eliminate any stress we might have felt otherwise. She also (very kindly) talked our venue into giving us a little something extra to compensate for the inconvenience. On the actual day of our wedding, Erica and Jennifer were on site with us, and they were both absolutely lovely to work with. It was our first time meeting IRL, but it didn't feel like it. Erica was a pro at rounding up our family members and corralling vendors throughout the day. Literally don't know how we could have done it without her. TLDR; everyone planning a wedding deserves support from a team like this. 11/10 recommend. If I got married again I would book them again in a heartbeat.

Joanna and Caroline from The Day of Company were the best team imaginable! Our venue required that we have a day of planner and that is how we found Joanna. Thank goodness they did because it made such a big difference! She was helpful throughout the entire process, answering any questions that came up, and preparing us for details we might have missed. She coordinated with our other vendors which relieved a lot of stress the week of the wedding.
Caroline was our coordinator the day of the wedding and she was excellent! She checked in a few hours before we were due at the wedding venue and from that point on I didn't have to worry about a thing. She took care of all of the pieces that had to come together to make the day special and she did it flawlessly. My husband and I had some DIY components and she made sure everything was set up the way we envisioned. During the event she kept it all running smoothly (even a tricky bustling situation) and made sure we had a lovely experience from the beginning to end. Amazing Day Of Coordination
During the wedding planning process, we were going back and forth about needing a day of coordinator; however, as our wedding day vision evolved, we decided we definitely needed one to help set up the reception venue during our ceremony. We initially thought that this was all we needed help with; however Audra and Carleigh did SO much more! Audra was super helpful and super responsive from the beginning. We had two hour long calls at various stages leading up to the day of, where we we in depth on timeline and detail of the wedding day. Audra thought of everything, even booking time into our day of timeline for events/details that I didn't even think about. Audra then assigned Carleigh as our day of coordinator. Carleigh arrived the morning of to my parents house with a smile on her face and was nothing but incredibly helpful the entire day. She came prepared with everything (including a steamer and sewing kit, which we needed when my groom lost a button during the ceremony.) She packed all our decor into her car and brought it to the venue, where she proceeded to set up all our centerpieces, sweetheart table, and cocktail hour at the venue. Carleigh went above and beyond bringing our vision to life, even adding extra decor to other areas of the venue that I didn't even think of. Everything looked amazing and we kept getting compliments on all our details. She then packed everything up at the end of the night and met us at the hotel to put it in our car. Carleigh was by our side throughout the night making sure we had drinks, food, and everything we needed. She truly did everything behind the scenes to make the day perfect and I cannot thank her and Audra enough!

Boy, oh boy - planning a wedding is a LOT of work. But when I looked into hiring a full-blown wedding planner, the pricing was a quarter of our entire budget. Nope! However, everyone recommended that I at least hire a day-of coordinator, and I'm so glad I did. In fact, I'm not sure what I would have done without Audra and her team...I would've had to recruit over a dozen family members to schlep things to the venue, set up placecards, monitor timing, etc! There is so much to do in terms of set-up and overall flow that they completely handled. Contrary to the name, we actually did our first call about 6 months out and then another call in the month leading up to the wedding. Even before the day-of, it was SO helpful to get the perspective of wedding professionals. After all, my parents, fiance, and I were doing our best but had never planned a wedding before! On the day-of, our day-of coordinator Laura and transportation coordinator Emily were all over everything. Multiple guests have told me how "present" I seemed on The Big Day and that is definitely thanks to Laura and Emily getting shit done! I will also say that the team had a good deal of experience at our venue (the Prospect Park Boathouse) and that was extra helpful. Working with the Day-Of Company was probably one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding!

Audra helped with random questions throughout the process (anything from proper etiquette with invitations and guests to actually contacting and working directly with vendors). Audra also had super helpful checklists that helped me with the planning of the most minute details - things I would have forgotten about if not for our planning meetings.
Gabrielle was our day-of coordinator and again, I couldn't be more grateful having her there. Our wedding was less than "easy" or "normal" as we had a tent wedding on our 1-acre property that required a ton of running around, multiple different vendors and plenty of moving parts. Gabby worked tirelessly to make sure each detail was executed perfectly and it was such a blessing having her there to help make sure all the important aspects of our wedding went off without a hitch.

As a super organized person with tons of event experience, I wondered if I would need a day of coordinator, especially because my venue had one. For anyone who's wondering the same, I'd say to stop wondering, and put your faith in Audra and her team! We could NOT imagine our wedding day without Audra and Jaleesa. While they're called the 'Day Of' company, they started onboarding with me and my vendors over a month ahead of time. In the lead-up, they helped give super helpful advice and even helped smooth over a miscommunication with our band. On the day of, Jaleesa was incredible, and because of her I got to feel like a guest at my own wedding. She helped wrangle my fiancee and I, our bridal party, our families and all of our vendors. She was a wedding day ANGEL. Everyone told us ahead of the wedding "things will surely go wrong, but it's OK." But literally nothing went wrong, and for that I thank Audra and Jaleesa. In terms of venue coordinator vs. your own day-of coordinator - you really want to have someone on your side that advocates for you. Venue coordinators are really just there to protect the venue, and do little beyond that.

Since day 1, The Day Of Company has gone above and beyond to ensure that our day went smoothly. I primarily worked with Audra in the early coordination and details for our wedding, and Angela was our day-of-coordinator. I was extremely impressed by the level of professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail from both Audra and Angela. I appreciated the level of detail and planning that went into coordinating with all of my vendors and in ironing out the day of timeline. There was never a point leading up to the day where I felt like I was in the dark - they made sure that I and my vendors all knew exactly what to expect at any point. I also appreciated that they were very quick to respond, even to a minor question I had - I was never left hanging. On the day of, Angela was a rockstar in making sure we were on schedule and making sure the vendors had everything they needed. Many people at the wedding kept asking who she was, stating that she was amazing at keeping everything organized. Not only was she incredibly organized, but she also demonstrated that she could quickly adapt to unexpected events or tasks. Whether it's dealing with an accidental food stain on our clothes or trying to set up decorative items last minute or herd missing people for portraits, she was able to quickly identify who she needed to work with or what she needed to do to successfully complete the task. My vendors also spoke very highly of Angela and how great it was to work with her.
All in all, I can't recommend The Day Of Company enough. Everything went perfectly, and I was happy to have had such a stress-free and fun wedding.

You Could Not Pick a Better Team to Work With for Your Wedding Than the Day Of Company
From the moment my husband and I began planning our wedding, I knew that hiring a Day of Coordinator would be a must. Not needing someone to be involved in day 1 of planning, but knowing that I absolutely did not want to worry about the final details or coordinating with vendors and my wedding reception owner on the actual day of, finding someone who I could trust to handle it all was of utmost priority. And find someone I did in Audra Jones and the Day Of Company. Audra was friendly, prepared and accommodating from our first email to our last Zoom call. She completely understood when we needed to postpone our wedding because of COVID-19. She was available to help in finalizing every last detail and knew just how many calls we'd need to go over the timeline in the months and weeks leading up to the big day. And Shannon, who was our actual Day Of Coordinator, was incredible. There really aren't enough words to describe how amazing she was. I could feel the anxiety lift from my body the minute she arrived at our hotel as we got ready the morning of the wedding. She had the ability of seeming to be in 20 places at once, and never once did she let any stress reach me. We held our ceremony in a small park across the way from our wedding venue, and all within the span of a few hours, she made sure our tables were set up (we had handled our own decor for them), set up all signage at the venue and at the ceremony location, oversaw the set up of chairs and a tent at the ceremony, took care of the handing out of tips to all vendors, made sure the busses with our guests left the hotel on time, and, not to mention, got my husband to the park so that we didn't have to worry about his transportation for the first look. And she did it all with a fantastic warm attitude and a great sense of humor. By the end of the day, Shannon felt like an old friend. I'd gladly work with her and Audra again, and hope to have a reason to in the future!
You will be glad to go with the Day Of Company for any of your wedding or other event needs. Anyone who does get the chance to book the Day Of Coordinator is a lucky person.

Two words: hire them! The Day Of Company was a key hire for my partner's and my wedding. Even though our wedding party was small (~60 people), I can't imagine having pulled it off without the help of Audra and her team. Audra was a breeze to work with -- responsive, sharp, thoughtful, and easy! We only needed The Day Of's services for our wedding reception, as we held our ceremony separately with a smaller group of people. But Audra still went above and beyond, helping us craft a detailed timeline and figure out logistics for the ceremony as well as the reception. Sen Yu was our coordinator on the day of our reception and I could not believe how helpful, professional, and all around delightful she was. The Day Of company was incredibly helpful in planning stages and on the day of our actual wedding! Audra helped us tremendously when we had to cancel our original wedding and gave excellent recommendations as to how / where we might consider re-scheduling our wedding due to COVID-19. Leading up to the wedding, Audra took on communications with vendors and helped us to make several important decisions in order to inform the very detailed timeline that she wrote out.
On the day of our wedding, Emily was absolutely incredible. She managed a million moving parts, made everything run smoothly and made it so that I wasn't worried about any of the (many) details but could focus on the day itself and be present in the moment which was incredibly important to me.
Both Audra and Emily are consummate professionals who I would highly recommend to any bride/groom planning their wedding. I can't imagine the day of our wedding without Emily there running everything from getting the flowers into the right place to pinning the boutonnières to the ushers to holding to my lipstick to steaming my dress / veil both before the ceremony & after while I was in it - and so, so much more. So helpful, calm, patient and such an expert prepared for any situation. She had incredible judgement and discernment - a sense for who should be where and when.

Audra was the perfect “Day Of” partner, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone who needs support on the big day.
I am a very experienced (and meticulous and discerning) event planner who likes to control every detail. But as MOB I hoped to find an outstanding “Day of” coordinator, so I could enjoy the events of the day – and, reluctantly, release control. While The Day Of Company highlights themselves as helping with the "Day Of" they really do it all. No matter what question I had along the way, months out, whether it was a suggestion on a vendor or figuring out the proper way for walking down the aisle with a modern family - Audra was there to answer it all. I am a project manager myself, and was so impressed with the level of detail that went into the planning process. She helped build out a timeline and took over ALL vendor relationships 2 weeks out for the big day so I could sit back and relax and really get to take in all aspects of my wedding without handling anything in terms of set-up or money related. Also, Audra was my right hand woman, literally had an adult sippy cup with a straw to hydrate me throughout the day. No detail is too small and she really made me feel comfortable to ask her ANY question along the way.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this review!!
For starters, Shannon and The Day of Company came highly recommended from a family friend who recently got married! I right away reached out and spoke with Audra, who was amazing from start to finish! I asked if Shannon was available, as she was the same day planner that my friend worked with and I heard nothing but amazing things about Shannon! Audra told me she would try to get Shannon for my special day, and of course, she succeeded!!! My wedding was originally may 2, 2020 and was postponed two times after that due to corona. When having to move dates Audra asked no questions and accommodated me!! She even sent me a surprise cake on my original wedding day because she knew how emotional it was for us!
Shannon felt like family, as if I’ve known her my whole life! She just fit right in with my group and family! It also helped that we had some people in common, such a small world! Shannon did EVERY single thing so I did not have to worry! She stayed with me the morning of while getting ready, dressed me (my dress was complicated) she then went to the church to make sure everything was in order, I added bubbles and butterflies that she had to put in baskets in order to give out at the end, followed by the venue to make sure that was all in order for when I arrived!! She would hold by drinks during the reception while I took sips in between photos and was by my side every step of the way with anything I needed! I’m more of a laid back bride who kept things in her head or on little papers rather than an excel spreadsheet bride, but every idea and detail I threw at Audra and Shannon they organized for me and it came together perfectly! I would even do this wedding all over again just to spend time with my vendors. I would recommend the day of company over and over again!!

Couldn't have imagined the day without Audra!
Audra from the Day of Company was INCREDIBLE. We couldn't have had our wedding day run as smoothly without her. Audra being there allowed us to just show up and be happy - which is all you want to do on your day!
It was over 90 degrees on our wedding day and she was constantly supplying me with water, making sure I was comfortable, etc. We also had a lovely but overzealous photographer and Audra made sure to keep her in check and prioritize us having the experience we wanted (while also making sure we got the photos we wanted). Even before the event, Audra was so so helpful. She worked with us to build a really thorough day of wedding schedule (which all of our vendors and parents LOVED) and then followed up with each of our vendors before the wedding to make sure they had the information, and that the contracted times were correct. I want to first say I was against getting a day of planner. I thought I would be able to coordinate everything and the money would be well spent elsewhere. I could not have been more wrong. I mean this wholeheartedly when I say, Joanna was the best thing to happen to us. She was so impressively organized and completely took the bull by the horns. She took all of the stress away from me by reaching out to all of the vendors and individually coordinating and confirming plans with them. She was the point of contact instead of the burden being on me, my mom or my MOH. Like all weddings, there were curveballs, more than I would have liked and quite literally at the last minute. I was chill, calm, easygoing, stress-free, and able to be totally present on my wedding day and I owe that 100% to the Day Of Company. We can’t say enough about how incredible The Day Of Company was during our wedding weekend. We had a 3-day celebration, including a 130-person welcome party at the bride’s parents’ house the day before the wedding, 150 guests at the wedding, and a farewell brunch for all the guests (also at the parents’ house) the day after, and having on-site coordinators was essential. From the beginning, we knew that we wanted to handle the planning/general direction of our wedding weekend ourselves, and wanted someone to help execute on the day of so that we could enjoy everything and spend time with our guests. Best Wedding Planning Decision That We Made!
Using the Day of company was one of the best decisions that we made while planning our wedding. We decided early on that we didn’t want the stress of a wedding party, but that also meant that we would not have a lot of help for all of the little things that come up on the wedding day. I work in an event production industry and thought about hiring a friend, but we really just wanted all of our guests to enjoy our day. The DOC was the perfect solution for us to do all of the wedding planning on our own and then have help pulling everything together the week before and the day of our wedding. We worked with Audra over a few phone calls to create our day of timeline and make sure that we were on track with all of our vendors, then we met in person one week out to get to know our coordinator Kim. She made the day run so smoothly and was by our side the entire time, thinking of things that wouldn’t have even crossed my mind. I know I would have been worrying about all of the little details, but Kim gave us so much peace of mind to just enjoy the day. She helped with literally everything - steaming my dress, making sure all of our vendors arrived/ set up correctly and were tipped, flow of the day, making sure our photographer got all of the shots we wanted, and even holding my dress so I could pee, lol! I’m so happy that we didn’t have to burden any friends or family members to “work” at our wedding. LET ME TELL YOU RIGHT NOW. YOU NEED A DAY OF COORDINATOR. DO NOT LET ANYONE CONVINCE YOU OTHERWISE. We were supposed to get married 5/2/20 but postponed because of the pandemic. Flash forward to 8/21/20 and Audra was the BEST! We decided to have a backyard wedding and she was there literally every step of the way. We had video calls to literally run through the entire wedding down to the minute. One of my vendors was shocked how precise it was. My mom and my husband looked at me like I had 5 heads when I told them I hired someone to help out for the day. She was a godsend for our backyard wedding. She was already at my house when I came back from the hair salon (I was running a litte late) - and had our backyard decorated and everything was ready. Luckily I lived a 5 minute walk from the church, so Audra was able to get to the church to ruffle my dress before i walked down the aisle, she carried my lipstick with her, a bottle of water for me, checked on the bridesmaids, fix the ring bearers sign because it came undone right before he walked down the aisle. I also got lipstick all over my face - SECONDS before i walked down the aisle and she had a tissue and she fixed my face. I'm assuming she RAN to the house because the food was being delivered. When we were done taking photos in the park I texted her to tell us we were on our way to my house and she answered: "What do you and your husband want to drink? I'll have it ready" This woman was on top of her game. She made sure all our vendors got their tips - made sure everyone ate, all the food came out in a timely manner. She kept a drink in my hand no matter what. My mom said the next morning - "If I knew Audra was going to do all of this - I wouldn't have been as stressed as I was the week before." Nothing major happened during our wedding but I am completely positive that if something did happen she would've handed it like the BOSS she is and I would've never seen or heard about it. Any couple debating on it - do it. don't hesitate. THANK YOU AUDRA!

I had my ceremony in Brooklyn and the reception in the city, I was so nervous that I would have to worry about all of it because that is the person that I am. This was a destination wedding and I had buses, shuttles, limos and different hotels for pick up and drop off.  I was looking for a Day of planner for my wedding, as I wanted to plan everything being the Type A and controlling person that I am. When we had to get down to wedding details (about 2 months or so out), we were not sure if we really needed a wedding coordinator. We had already gotten most of our vendors, it seemed that everything was in place, and we figured we could always ask friends and family to help us out on the day of. Instead, we decided to hire the Day Of company to help us because we didn't want to take the risk. That might have been the single best decision we made.
Planning such a big, intricate party takes more than just setting it up - the most important part is the day of the wedding itself. We had a continuous correspondence with the Day Of company in the month leading up to the wedding. They provided us an extremely detailed schedule that was invaluable for both us and our vendors, and managed everything that we did not have time to. On the day of itself, Kim made sure that my wife and I, the vendors, everybody, was at the right place at the right time. I can't imagine what we would have done without their help.
For more context, our wedding was at a venue that didn't allow us to start setting up until 3pm, with the wedding starting at 5pm. We had to get so many details exactly right - and the Day Of company helped us nail it. We would highly, highly recommend getting a day of wedding coordinator, and the Day Of company is the best. Choosing to work with a day of coordinator, and specifically the Day of Company, was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The support we received began well before our wedding day - we had calls and exchanged emails with Joanna (the founder) in the months leading up to our wedding and had an in-person meeting with Audra, our designated day of coordinator, the week before the wedding. Joanna was extremely helpful and responsive. She provided advice when we asked and guided us through the planning process to make sure we were on task and aware of small details that often get forgotten. Joanna also created our wedding day timeline, which was an invaluable resource. I would have had no idea where to begin with the timeline on my own.

I got married in April 2019 and because of The Day Of Company, I will remember this day as the best dream. My wedding had over 400 guests, and required a lot of coordination. We had guests fly in from over 11 countries, and we had 9 little kids in the ceremony. There are no words to describe how superbly helpful the entire Day of Company team is. Professional, joyful, accommodating, happy-making, the entire team is magnificent. I was blessed to work with the lovely bridal attendant at The Day of Team named Ozzy. Ozzy was not only my right had woman, but she went above and beyond to help my elderly parents, support my sisters and their little kids, while putting my dress on and off with precision and professionalism. Like Mary Poppins, she has a toolkit with everything a bride will need. From a sewing kit, to lip gloss that matched my make-up artist’s gloss, to hair pins for the flower girls’ halos, first aid, lotion, tweezers, and more. And as it turned out, all of these items were needed by someone in my bridal party. Ozzy came to the rescue. One element about Ozzy and the Day of Company staff that stands out is that they are good people. A bridal attendant is not necessarily tasked with giving you compliments when you feel down or nervous, but Ozzy, being so thoughtful and sensitive, could see how I felt at any moment, and was able to craft exactly the right words to ease my mind and free up my heart to really take in this special day. She even took some on the best photos of our first look as husband and wife!! The Day of Company does it all with grace and tact! Joanna, a leader on the Day of Company team, is beyond helpful. She is smart and resourceful and made the entire process of working with Day of Company efficient and fun. Joanna responds in a timely and efficient manner, always has a smile on her face, and is perceptively clever (she refined my ceremony processional to make it more seamless after finding an error I made). I have The Day of Company to thank for making it possible for me and my loved ones to enjoy each and every moment. I recommend this team in a heartbeat! You rock!

Don't get married without Joanna and her team at The Day Of Company! Seriously, they are the most amazing Day of Coordinators (and human beings!) and I don't know how I thought I was going to get married without them. People asked me how I was so calm (and how my mom was so calm as well! Ha!) and the answer is Joanna and Michelle at Day Of. They made sure to coordinate with all of the other vendors and created an amazing timeline I could share with all of them (many of your vendors will ask you for a timeline I learned). I also didn't have to worry about telling anyone to be anywhere (bridal party, family, vendors etc.) because Joanna and Michelle took care of that. They also thought of EVERYTHING a bride and her bridal party could need! There are too many examples to share in one review but Michelle magically seemed to have a water bottle with a straw in it whenever I was thirsty and seemed to know exactly when my Mom and I had tired feet and our flip flops were ready for us. At the end of the night I came back to the bridal suite to find almost everything had been boxed up, packed and organized so I didn't have to worry about running around the venue for all sorts of odds and ends. The Day Of Company is worth every single penny and more. The groom and I got to relax and enjoy our day, and even sit down and eat at our own wedding thanks to Joanna and Michelle. My Husband and I as well as our bridal party and parents will forever grateful to The Day Of Company!!

Working with Joanna and Audra was fantastic. They were incredibly detail-oriented and made it so I could enjoy my day worry free. Her spreadsheet skills are next level, and her ability to juggle all the vendors and *their* opinions about the schedule was much appreciated. During the wedding, Audra was on top of everything and solved even my guests' issues! And showed infinite patience when I was cranky/hungry/overwhelmed. I woke up the next morning after the whirlwind night and was sure I had lost envelopes, gifts, and more, but nope! I cannot recommend The Day of Company enough - not only were they one of the least expensive DOCs I encountered in the NYC area, they were completely professional and true rockstars during wedding planning. I worked with Joanna leading up to the wedding and she kept me completely organized with lists and spreadsheets. She suggested a timeline that worked perfectly and helped us keep our vendor contacts organized. Then, during the day-of Audra was on-site and having her there was amazing. She managed everything single-handedly. Apparently there was an issue with my guest-transport busses and she handled it so efficiently I never even knew there was a problem, I just walked out into my ceremony and it was completely full of guests.
I particularly recommend TDOC for my venue, The New York Botanical Garden. TDOC is a recommended vendor here and I can see why. They have a great relationship with the venue staff that really made planning so seamless. Joanna even came with me on a vendor walk through (no extra cost) and helped prompt me on any typical planning concerns or questions. Joanna also recommended a few vendors when I was questioning myself and they were all fabulous, she really knows the NYC wedding scene well.
Both my mom and mother-in-law were skeptical on hiring a DOC (I guess this wasn't a "thing" when they were planning their weddings) but they both admitted after the wedding that Audra was worth her weight in gold. Honestly, TDOC could charge 2x or 3x their rate and they'd still be worth it, but as it stands they have really transparent and reasonable pricing. Would absolutely recommend!

We worked with Joanna leading up to the wedding and Audra for the day of the event. We had made a preliminary run of show but Joanna was phenomenal at giving insight into the pace and timing of things that you can only know with tons of experience. She also gave us ideas for things we likely would have over looked.
Audra was with us for the day of and managed to be in 10 places at once. She was helpful, calming and positive throughout the day and gave us a chance to enjoy the day without worrying about anything. Creating a day of timeline is one of the hardest parts of wedding planning & having someone there to guide you and be sure you don't forget a thing is a great help. On the day of my wedding, Shannon took over (I put my phone away for the day) She steamed my 15 foot veil. She arrived at my church early to make sure everything is perfect. She transported & set up décor for me such as moving my wedding sign & flower arrangements from church to venue. After my photos when I was hungry & sweaty (it was the hottest day in October) Shannon was there with me to help me out of my dress so I can use the bathroom and freshen up. She literally did everything for me & I could not imagine my day without her. When I tell people why I actually enjoyed my wedding, I say SHANNON! Don't listen to anyone who says you don't need a Day Of coordinator because you DO!

The best decision I made, by far, for my wedding day was to hire 'The Day of Company'. Joanna is an extraordinary woman and business owner, and it was an honor to work with her and her talented team of planners. After agonizing over the necessity of a 'day of coordinator', mainly due to budget constraints, I can attest it is without a doubt worth it, especially if your ceremony, photos and reception are in different locations. Find the room to do it. There is not a price tag that you can put on ensuring you have a perfect day, and 'The Day of Company' will make that happen for you. As a bride who comes from a long line of 'worker bees', I knew I did not want myself, my mother, sister or bridesmaids, lifting a finger on my big day. People come from far and wide to be a part of your wedding. Your family and bridesmaids spend exorbitant amounts of money on dresses, hair, makeup, showers, shower gifts, bachelorette parties, etc. We all know because we have been there! Your girls shouldn't be steaming dresses, running errands and working for you on your big day- you should be able to relax and enjoy everyone in your suite without worrying about the Groom, Groomsmen, your vendors and timeline. As someone that has also been a part of some chaotic weddings, I have been a first hand witness to all that can go wrong. Think: flowers not being delivered on time, and the bride and groom on the phone with each other trying to track down the florist a half hour before the ceremony! I knew I did not want this on my big day. While I was sitting getting my makeup done, Stef, my exceptional 'Day Of' coordinator came in and asked if I wanted to see my bouquet. It is one of my favorite memories of my wedding, because it was like magic; everything arrived on time and into my hands without my having to do anything. Something that small makes a huge difference in such a busy day- its truly a million moving pieces. Even my groom, who was more budget conscious and wary of using a 'Day of Coordinator' agreed that we don't know how it all would have melded together so perfectly without our 'Day Of' team. Our mom's were astounded by the detail of our timeline, there was no stone left unturned. Joanna even found ways to make details I found cheesy or not necessary (that our moms wanted) unique and cool (guest book, cocktail napkins, etc.) Leave it to the professionals- Joanna knows weddings and will make sure you have a day better than one you could have ever dreamed of! We could not have done it without her!

Soon after we started to plan our wedding, my now husband and I argued over whether or not to hire a day-of coordinator. I'm so glad I won, and we are both SO glad we went with the Day-Of Company, and so grateful to Joanna and Audra for their incredible work with us! We had three different musical ensembles and a very specific vision for the transitions between the groups, and the DOC took it all in stride and made sure everything went EXACTLY like we wanted.
One thing to know about how the company works is that you'll work with Joanna (the owner) on ALL the pre-wedding planning, day-of timeline, vendor recommendations, questions, emails, texts, etc. Then, you'll meet the coordinator who will be working at your wedding about a week before the big day. For us, that was Audra, who was amazing. Joanna had filled in Audra about all the details and information, so all Audra had to do was confirm a few things with us and we were good to go.
Audra was professional, efficient, prepared, and absolutely lovely to be around. All my bridesmaids and many members of my family commented on how fantastic she was in every way.
Hiring the DOC was worth every single penny, and their price was reasonable anyway!!! Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend!!

I just wanted to take a minute to tell you about the wonderful time I had at my son's wedding, thanks to Shannon, our wedding coordinator.
This was my first experience with a wedding coordinator. In retrospect, I can't even imagine how our day would have gone without her. This woman is worth her weight in gold!! She took control from the minute she arrived at the hotel in the midst of 12 Bridesmaids, 2 Flower Girls, 1 Mother of the Bride and the Bride herself all getting hair and makeup done simultaneously. She made sure things ran smoothly and in a timely fashion. Shannon even had a lengthy spreadsheet with the timeline for the day which was texted to the members of the Bridal Party!  Shannon made sure every detail at the church AND at the venue had been attended to. I was impressed with many things throughout the day. 
Here are a few:
-The 22 month old flower girl did not want to walk down the aisle. Shannon gave her a small shiny Altoids container to hold, and she walked that entire aisle without issue
-I had a basket full of small bubble containers that was just sitting in the back of the church. Shannon made sure every guest received one and that they blew them on cue as the newlyweds exited
-She made sure that nothing was left behind at the church, including our "Welcome" sign and large easel
-Shannon set up our "memorial" photo display, along with arranging the fresh flowers beautifully on the mantel of the fireplace
-She kept the Bridal Party in check at the venue while we waited 90 minutes for the newlyweds to arrive to take pictures
-Shannon assisted the bride with a "birdbath" to freshen her up just prior to entering the reception room (the day had been hot and humid)
-At one point I had said that my feet were hurting, and Shannon offered to go up to the bridal suite to retrieve my flats
-She offered to walk the very sleepy flower girl in her stroller so the family could enjoy the wedding
-I was concerned about guests taking more than one favor upon exiting. Within minutes Shannon had printed up and framed a sign that read "Please take a favor, one per couple"
- She even took some pictures during the evening and graciously texted them to me the next day

I really could go on and on about what a lifesaver Shannon was on this very special day. Not one member of the family, least of all the Bride, had to think about ANYTHING other than having a great time- which we all did! By the end of the evening I truly felt like I was saying goodbye to a favorite family member. If anyone has the means to hire a wedding coordinator for "The Day Of," I would highly recommend it. If they get lucky enough to have Shannon, the day will be absolutely PERFECT!

The Day Of Company delivered top-notch service from start to finish and we extend our highest recommendation to Joanna and her team.  Because of Joanna and the Day of Team, our wedding day was stress-free and everything went exactly as planned.  People in our lives kept warning us, "The day is going to go by fast, you're not going to have a moment to enjoy it."  "The day is for your guest. You won't have time to eat so make sure you nourish yourself in advance." Needless to say, these warnings had us concerned.  We expressed our concerns to Joanna and she simply asked, "What do you want this day to be?"  We shared with her that our vision was to create a day that represents a celebration of our love and an acknowledgment of the people in our lives who have supported our love. We shared that our priority was that our guest enjoyed every aspect of the day and that we also have the opportunity to enjoy it with them. Joanna simply replied, "consider it done."
She was right. Everyone, our guest, the venue staff, our parents, us, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The venue staff and many of our vendors approached us and our guest throughout the night and commented on how palpable the love was in the room. I promise you, that was in large part because we knew we didn't have to worry about a thing as Joanna and the Day Of Company had everything under control and made sure everyone felt welcomed and acknowledged. Joanna and her team's presence allowed us to be fully present to our guest, enjoy the delicious food, dance, sing and even eat our delicious chocolate wedding cake, our favorite part of the menu! 
From our initial email correspondence to her service the day of our wedding Joanna and her team delivered exceptional service. Things that mattered to us included responsiveness, clear communication, foresight, preparation, delivery on the day of, and ease (we really wanted this process to be effortless and with ease).  Joanna and her team mastered it all! 
She communicated consistently between day 1 and the day of our wedding. During the pre-event planning process to onsite, to post-event breakdown and delivery, the Day of Team was perfect. Additionally, she is tons of fun to work with. We walked away committed to making her a lifelong friend! 
It took us nearly two weeks to sit and write this review for Joanna and her team because we've been flying high since our wedding day. Every. Single. Thing.  Went according to plan and turned out so much better than we anticipated.  We invested a lot into our big day and Joanna and her team served as the perfect insurance.

Booking a DOC was by far one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Joanna and Britt were so amazing since the first email exchange. My husband and I absolutely LOVED using the Day of Company. We can't even begin to describe how amazing they were with the lead up and the actual day of logistics. For anyone on the fence about getting a day of coordinator, DEFINITELY do it. We think it was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. Joanna is incredible and AUDRA IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. She was our onsite coordinator and made our wedding absolutely perfect. She is so organized, thoughtful, attentive, detail oriented, easy going, and just wonderful to be around. The Day of Company and Joanna are amazing. Joanna came highly recommended after my original coordinator canceled about a month before my wedding. She put me at ease the first time we spoke on the phone, and I could immediately tell she was highly detail-oriented. She worked out a package to our specific needs for the day of the wedding, and listened to my vision. If you're someone who wants to do all the planning and then see it executed perfectly, this is the company to go with. Our coordinator was Amanda, and she was wonderful. Our wedding had so many moving parts (FIVE food deliveries to a roof in Manhattan. FIVE), and she never dropped one ball. Both Joanna and Amanda took the time to meet us at our venue to get an idea of what the day would look like. And perk: Coordinator brings an emergency kit with everything you or your guests could possibly need (I used the tide wipe on my flower girl). She will also steam your dress so you won't have to worry about it wrinkling in travel. Never did Amanda or Joanna look frazzled (even though I'm sure they were at points), which made me feel secure during the entire wedding. We could really let go and let them handle everything, which is good when you're being pulled in a million places as the bride and groom. And all of our guests raved about how sweet they both were. I cannot recommend The Day of Company enough.

They took care of contacting our vendors leading up to our wedding and helped execute logistics the day of instead of us having to delegate tasks to members of our wedding party. On top of that, their team was so pleasant to work with from the very beginning, which helped relieve some of the pre-wedding stress! They were definitely worth the investment because my husband and I were ultimately able to sit back and enjoy our day to the fullest.

From our first phone call, it was clear that Joanna was going to be my partner in creating the dream wedding for my daughter. In advance of the wedding , I could call her with any question I had, and she got back to me immediately with excellent and thoughtful advice. At our meeting before the wedding, she came prepared and informed, asking pertinent questions, many of which I had never thought of. And from the moment she arrived on the wedding day, she took charge. She did EVERYTHING: from making sure everyone was on time and in their place, to feeding the wedding party, to helping me into my outfit. She was so pleasant; always smiling, never seemed to be rushing and yet everything was done. All I had to do was enjoy the day. She handled all of the vendors, set-up, logistics. She even made a critical weather decision, which turned out to be crucial and perfect. At the wedding, she made sure the ceremony went off perfectly, attended to every detail of the evening; the bride and groom always had water, all of the speakers were in their place and ready for their moment, she carried lipstick for me and the bride. She had tons of ideas and options and would go over every little detail, especially important things that you forget (since you're so busy planning) to make sure your day goes seamlessly. She goes over all logistics of the day, your timeline, makes sure to know who people are, brings a whole kit of things you didn’t even know you needed (like wipes for your armpits because you will be sweaty). Joanna was an amazing resource when it came to making the vision for our wedding come to life. Joanna was BEYOND helpful for not only myself, but my family, bridesmaids and of course the groom. She showed up at the hair salon at 8am ready to work! She was assisting all the bridesmaids and made sure all of us ate. She then went to my house where she set EVERYTHING up! She was there when the florists arrived, the food for a light lunch, the photographers and she set everything up, EXACTLY how I wanted it! Before the big day, Joanna took the time to talk on the phone with me for over and hour, getting every single detail down to how I wanted my day to go. From certain pictures, to how I want to reveal myself to my bridesmaids and father. She knew it all! Her organizational skills were top notch and you can tell she truly loves her job! All I have to say is WOW! Joanna from the Day Of Planner exceeded my expectations of what a "day of coordinator" can do for you! Joanna was the biggest help right from start. Always offering to help me months and months before my wedding, being available by text or phone basically at any point in the day/evening with a very quick response, and always ready and willing to help even with situations that I felt weren't her responsibility I.e. invitation wording (after all this is a "day of" service). Come the day of, I didn't have to worry about a thing knowing Joanna was ready and prepared to handle anything to come my way. I found out about some small mishaps along the way that Joanna took care of without my knowledge given she knew exactly how I wanted everything! Definitely took the worry and stress away so I could 100% enjoy my wedding day! I am very thankfully for Joanna and the service she provided. After spending endless hours and countless dollars trying for perfect details of my dream day, I had a clear vision of what I wanted for my wedding. However, I quickly realized that the execution of these details would be nearly impossible to manage alone. I wanted to my family and bridal party to enjoy themselves at my reception, thankfully The Day Of Company came to the rescue. Joanna came on board just two short weeks before my wedding and spent an entire evening with us going through the details of what to expect. She looped all of our vendors in emails and made sure that she had a solid rundown of the schedule- not missing a beat. She took care of everything in the days to come (and went the extra mile for any last minute errands like replacements for my matches that never arrived!). Joanna is a true class act! She is so talented at what she does and will make your wedding day dreams come true. Joanna is the perfect person for the job: organized, reliable, respectful, tasteful, talented and knowledgable about her field. You really can't put a price tag on the work Joanna does. Her support and services leading up to the wedding and on the day of the wedding are worth every penny.  On the day of my wedding, Joanna made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived at the venue until the after-party was complete. I had trust in Joanna that every little detail would be taken care of by her throughout the entire day, and it certainly was. I mean, I never imagined I would be so calm just minutes before saying "I do" and I owe that to her. 

There are many wedding coordinators out there known to get pushy with vendors and/or venue and step on toes, and this certainly makes the situation uncomfortable for everyone.
